Audit Policy β€” Stewardship of Traceability

Curated by: MJ Ahmad β€” Steward of Ethical Inheritance
Document Type: Governance Protocol
Last Updated: October 17, 2025

🧭 Purpose

This policy defines how all changes within the MJ-Ahmad Documentation Hub are tracked, verified, and reviewed. It ensures that no edit is hidden, no steward is erased, and no artifact is lost.

πŸ” Audit Requirements

Metadata attached βœ… Required Must include steward name and audit hash
Audit hash verified βœ… Required Must match latest entry in change-log.json
Review status declared βœ… Required Must be approved, pending, or rejected
Steward attribution βœ… Required Must match role-activation.md

🧾 Audit Artifacts

  • audit/change-log.json β€” Ledger of all edits, hashes, and timestamps
  • *.metadata.json β€” Per-file metadata with review status and steward info
  • review-protocol.md β€” Artifact ratification and revision process
  • violations.md β€” Breach ledger for misuse or distortion

πŸ›‘οΈ Ethical Boundaries

  • No edit may bypass metadata or audit logging
  • No steward may erase another’s contribution
  • No artifact may be distributed without traceability
  • No logic may be altered without ethics validation

πŸ” Licensing

All audit processes are governed by the Ethical Inheritance License. Traceability is not optional β€” it is constitutional.
